Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing TheTechMart for your electronics needs! We are committed to providing you with exceptional service, including reliable shipping options. Please review our shipping policy below for more details:

  1. Processing Time:

    • Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation, excluding Sundays and holidays.

    • During peak seasons or promotional events, processing times may be slightly extended, but we always strive to fulfill orders as swiftly as possible. Any delays will always be communicated to you as customer. 

  2. Shipping Methods:

    • We offer a variety of shipping options to accommodate your needs, including standard shipping, expedited shipping, and express shipping. 

    • As customer, you will have the luxury of selecting which of the following South African courier services you want to utilize: PAXI, Courier Guy or Postnet. 

    • Shipping rates and delivery times vary depending on the shipping method chosen and the destination address. You can select your preferred shipping option during the checkout process.

  3. Shipping Locations:

    • We currently ship locally within South Africa.

    • We also do not ship to P.O. boxes. Please provide a valid street address for delivery.

  4. Shipping Costs:

    • Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of the items in your order, the shipping method selected, and the destination address.

    • You can view the shipping costs for your order during the checkout process before finalizing your purchase.

  5. Order Tracking:

    • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information.

    • You can use this tracking information to monitor the status of your shipment and estimate the delivery date.

  6. Delivery Times:

    • Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method chosen and the destination address.

    • Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days for delivery, while expedited and express shipping options offer faster delivery times.

    • Please note that delivery times may be affected by external factors such as weather conditions or carrier delays, which are beyond our control.

  7. Shipping Updates:

    • We strive to keep you informed about the status of your order throughout the shipping process. You will receive Whatsapp or email updates regarding the status of your shipment, including tracking information and any relevant notifications.

  8. Delivery Issues:

    • In the rare event that your order is delayed or lost in transit, please contact our customer service team immediately. We will work diligently to resolve any issues and ensure that you receive your order as soon as possible.

  9. Order Changes and Cancellations:

    • Once an order has been placed, changes or cancellations may not be possible, especially if the order has already been processed for shipment.

    • If you need to make any changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Return & Return Policy

TheTechMart (Pty) Ltd refund and return policy is as follows:

 

1. All devices purchased at TheTechMart have a 3 month warranty.

 

2. A warranty card will be issued to you as a customer upon the purchase of the specific device.

 

3. The warranty card will have a quality checklist that the sales agent has completed, showing that the device was tested and passed the functionality checks.

 

4. The warranty card will serve as your warranty token and proof. Keep it safe. With the warranty card, you as a customer are eligible for a full device replacement within the first three months of purchase, as long as the device is in the same condition as when you purchased it.

 

5. Once you lodged a replacement request, it will take between 7-14 days for the replacement to be completed.

 

6. In the case of refunds, customers are eligible for a full refund within the first 7-14 days of purchase. Thereafter, you as a customer are eligible for a 90-95% refund value of the device purchased.

 

8. After the warranty period has expired, customers will still be eligible to receive discounted repairs on their device [up to 30% discount depending on the parts requiring repair]. This benefit is only made available to customers of TheTechMart.

 

9. Note: In the case, where you want to upgrade your device within the 3 months warranty period , your device will hold its original value for the trade-in transaction.
